Teddy Roosevelt Program

Come and see Teddy Roosevelt impersonator, Adam Lindquist, share the exciting life of Teddy Roosevelt – from an asthmatic childhood, to the loss of his wife and mother on the same day, to his ascension to the Presidency. Audiences learn about the conservationist President in first person and the 230-million-acre legacy of national wild areas he left for all of us to enjoy. Don’t miss this Teddy Roosevelt-double’s fascinating presentation. Members and non-members welcome.

Ice Cream Social

Tuesday, May 29  1:30 p.m.  FREE

Rod Cerar is a very popular accordionist, keyboardist and vocalist who has been playing music since the age of 7. This event is FREE for members. Please sign up at the Heritage Center, or online at www.webtrac.lakevillemn.gov, then Active Adults, then Classes & Events, or by calling 952-985-4620 so we can plan accordingly. Entertainment is provided by The Legends of Apple Valley.


Courts are located at Dodd Trail Park, 17035 Flagstaff Ave.
Group play is available on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m. and Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. Pickleball is a fun game played on a lined court similar to a tennis court with a plastic ball and paddles. It’s easy for beginners to learn, and can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Equipment is available for those who do not have any. Bring a lawn chair and water.  $10 annual fee

Men’s Golf League

Men’s Golf League golfs on Wednesdays at 8 a.m. May through mid-October at Gopher Hills in Cannon Falls. Enjoy lunch at the golf club or Kings Place (Miesville) after the round. Carpooling is available. If you are interested in being a regular or substitute golfer, please attend this meeting. If you can’t attend the meeting, but want to play or if you have questions, call Wally Potter at 952-484-4855 or Cory Paulsen at 952-461-3129. $5 annual fee

“Health Angels” Biking

Organizational meeting Wednesday, April 11, 10 a.m. $5 annual fee
Rides are usually on Wednesdays, meeting at the Heritage Center at 8:30 or 8:45 a.m. depending upon the month. This bicycle club rides approximately 20 miles per outing in the metro area and stops for lunch. Rides will be determined by the group. Provide your own bicycle, helmet and bright neon green vest or shirt. In case of inclement weather, the week’s ride will be cancelled.
*Interested in biking a shorter distance? An option for developing a “short ride” group will be discussed at this meeting.

Motorcycle Club

Rides are usually on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays leaving the Heritage Center at 10 a.m. and stopping for lunch. This group is for men and women. Rides are determined by the group. Helmets are required.  $5 annual fee
